ZOE HESELTON : LATE 2026 TOUR
Zoe Heselton sends a great shiver through the nerves with her expansive, dense guitar, somewhere between a free-blues sermon with her throat on fire and a gospel duende that wrings you out and leaves you shaken. → On tour : 05/09 • Pantin (FR) • Festival Jazz à la Villette / Under the Radar, Kermesse(s)
BIO
Zoe Heselton is a poet, songwriter, guitarist, and singer of British origin, based in Strasbourg. Drawing from traditional music, folk, blues, and flamenco, as well as spoken word poetry and experimental influences, her intimate and embodied music moves between vulnerability and power. Carried by a sharp yet sensitive electric guitar, her songs, sometimes melodic, sometimes dissonant, explore darkness, healing, tenderness, and rage.
Following her first studio album, Another Kind of Suicide (2025) on the Teenage Menopause Records label, for which she brought together a group she named Sister Outsider, after a poem by Audre Lorde, Zoe Heselton now performs on stage as a sextet for their new collective creation, Point of No Return, alongside Merve Salgar (tanbur), Lise Barkas (hurdy-gurdy), Quentyn Risjeterre (bells, drums), Inès Rousset (bass and vocals), and Lil Anh Chansard (vocals, electronic).
